TECHNOLOGIES IN DEVELOPMENT

Many products introduced into low- and middle-income countries fail because of an inadequate understanding of the factors required for successful utilization. To be effective in low-resource settings, especially at the community level, technologies must meet operational and performance requirements consistent with the community setting and the skills of community health workers who may be the primary users of the technology. We’ve collected many technologies in development that address some of these requirements. We invite you to review these technologies in development and submit comments. Please use the search function to narrow your focus by condition, development status, or keyword. You may also submit a technology.
