  • Studies show the drape estimates PPH four times as often as visual estimates
  • Drape lead to earlier transfer from rural areas to a higher facility
  • Allows for easy disposal of body fluids after birth 

 

Important Milestones Achieved

  • Developed prototype
  • Three efficacy studies collected in rural villages in India
  • Large validation study being conducted at University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine
  • Currently being field tested in Tibet, Vietnam, Egypt, Ecuador, Brazil, and Argentina
