 Important Milestones Achieved

  • Study conducted in Tanzania to quantify blood loss using Kanga cloths
  • Results showed that 2 blood-soaked cloths represented slightly greater than 500 mL
  • With results, traditional birth attendants were educated to begin treatment for hemorrhage and transport at the 2-Kanga threshold
